I.          How we protect your privacy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to help you better understand how we and our service providers, including Thinkific (whose privacy policy applies to you and that you should read and is located here: Thinkific Privacy Policy), store, collect, and process your personal data.   For purposes of this document, “Site” means the URL at which you are accessing the Privacy Policy.

This policy describes why we collect and use your data.  By using or interacting with our Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. In particular, by visiting our Site you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this privacy policy, including any updates or revisions to this privacy policy. This policy does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content that may be accessible from this Site.

This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to operational or legal practices, or for regulatory reasons. If and when we make changes to this policy, we will post the revised policy on this Site. By continuing to use this Site after these changes are posted, you agree to the revised terms.

If you are concerned about any topic covered by this Privacy Policy, you should read it each time before you use our Site. Special Note Regarding Minors

We do not knowingly provide services or sell products to children. If you are below the age of 13, you may not use our Site without the permission and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you are a minor, please do not provide us with any personal information and do not use this Site. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

II.        Information we collect from you 

A.        Personal Information

“Personal Information” means any information that you provide to us that allows us or anyone else to associate the information with you.  Here is a summary of the personal information that we collect and a description of what we do with it:

We collect your name, email address, organization or employer for whom you are taking the training, and IP address. We need this information to provide you with confirmation that you have taken the training, and to confirm to your organization or employer that you successfully completed the training, if needed.

We also collect data about how and when you access the training in order to support your training process and at the same time for quality assurance purposes.

When transactions between you and our Site involve payment by credit card, debit card, checks, money orders, and/or third party online payment services, we will collect information related to the transaction as part of the course of doing business with you, including billing address, telephone number, and other information related to the transaction.

All of the information that we have described above is collected when you sign up for the training, when you access the training or when you otherwise provide us with the information.

We do not and will not share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide Personal Information to third parties, including Thinkific, for the marketing of their own products or services.

B.        Other Information We Collect 

We collect information from visitors to our Site and your IP address. We may also collect information such as when you visited, the Site from where you came prior to visiting us, the Site where you go when you leave our Site, your computer’s operating system, location data, and the type of browser software that you are using.

We also collect Personal Information submitted by you via any messaging or email feature available from our Site.

C.        Information from cookies and similar tracking technology

We collect cookies or similar tracking technologies (e.g., clear gifs, web beacons, etc., collectively known as “Cookies”). This means information that our Site’s server transfers to your computer. This information can be used to track your session on our Site. Cookies may also be used to customize our Site content for you as an individual. If you are using one of the common Internet web browsers, you can set up your browser to either let you know when you receive a Cookie or to deny Cookie access to your computer.

We use Cookies to recognize your device and provide you with a personalized experience.  We also use Cookies to attribute visits to our Sites or to third-party sources.

We may also use automated tracking methods on our Site and in communications with you to measure performance and engagement.

III.       Information that we share with third parties

We work with third parties, including, but not limited to Thinkific, to help provide you with the training and other information, and we may share Personal Information with them to support these efforts. In certain limited circumstances, we may also be required to share information with third parties to conform to legal requirements or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also receive Personal Information from third parties.

Personal Information may be shared with third parties to prevent, investigate, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or as otherwise required by law.

We will always ask for your consent before sharing your Personal Information with third parties for purposes other than those described in this Section III.

IV.       Security and Your Personal Information 

We employ commercially reasonable information security management protocols to safeguard sensitive information, such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details and any other Personal Information entrusted to us.

We exclusively process payments through PCI DSS Level 1 payment providers, which is the highest level of compliance available.

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your Personal Information.  Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our Site, including the illegal acts of third parties (such as criminal hacking).

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a username and password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping the username and password confidential. Do not give your password to anyone. If you enter a section of our Site that requires a password, you should log out when you leave.

V.        Accessing and Correcting your Information

If you have established a profile with us, you can review and change your personal information by logging into our Training Site and visiting your account profile page. You may send us an e-mail at [email protected] to request access to, correct or delete any Personal Information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your Personal Information except by also deleting records of your training progress.  We may not accommodate a request to change your Personal Information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
